Mini Van Fam

Yep it is a mini van. I was never going to have a mini van or enough kids to fill a mini van. But look at us now. 4 kids under the age of 5 and a new mini van. We traded in the truck and bought this van. It was a sad day in the Andrews family to get rid of our crew cab 4x4 truck. Justin had to part with his truck, it was a sad day. But in return we have 4 precious children and that is worth all of it.

Too funny!

We were headed to bed the other night and stopped to check on the boys and this is what we found! Peyton was sound asleep on the side of his be with no pants on! He had an accident and took off his pants and fell asleep. He doesn't remember this at all. Too funny. Peyton is always giving us a good laugh. Some nights we can't find him and he has crawled under his bed and fell asleep or all the way under his covers. What a kid!

First Day of School

Brayden went to his first day of Kindergarten today! He was so excited that yesterday he got up early, brushed his teeth and set out his clothes for today just to practice. It is a good thing that Grandma Karen is here to help us out or we would have been late to our first day of school. I was counting on the babies waking up around 6:30 and then we could get Brayden up and ready for school. Well the babies decided to sleep longer this morning and so we did too! My mom came in at 7:00am and woke us up. Brayden has to be on the bus at 7:20. So it was a very fast morning. Brayden was so excited. We packed his lunch, got his backpack and away we went to meet the bus. He looked so small to be getting on that big bus. He said he was scared and excited. I had a melt down after the bus left. It was very hard sending my oldest off to school. We picked him up this afternoon and he was grinning ear to ear! He loved school and had a great day. He is excited to go back tomorrow.

The babies

Here are a few pictures of the babies. We think that they are adorable. They are such good babies and we are so excited that they are here. They are eating and sleeping well. They boys love them so much. They are such good helpers. Cara is in the pink outfit. She was born at 7:58am and weighed 5lbs 3oz. Caylin is in the purple outfit. She was born at 8:01am and weighed 5lbs. They are so tiny that all of their clothes are too big, even the premie diapers are big on them. In 4 days we went through 60 diapers!!!! I think we are going to buy stock in Pampers!

Moving Day!

Posted by Picasa
Yep, we finally moved into our new house! We are so excited to be moved in. We had so much great help, things went fast and smooth. We still have a few things to get put away but for the most part we are settled. We still have a few little things to finish on the inside but we are in. The outside still needs to be finished so that is what we are working on now. Now we are just waiting for babies to come! We will keep you posted!

Summer Fun

We have had a fun summer so far. These are some pictures of fishing up Grey's River and Brayden and Peyton playing soccer. We have been busy working on the house so it was so much fun to take a break and go fishing. This is Peyton's first year of soccer. It is so much fun to watch all those little kids play. It is funny to see Peyton running as fast as he can on his little legs. When someone makes a goal he turns to me and says I didn't do it mom! Brayden is having fun with soccer too. He is trying to hold his own with the bigger kids on his team. He doesn't let them push him around.
Saturday the 2nd of August is the big day to move. We are so excited. The outside of the house is still not done but the inside is ready to go. Many people have asked can you really move in with the outside not done? The bank said we could so we are moving in. The inside turned out so pretty. We are excited to be able to live there. It has been quite a year so this is a big step for us.
The babies are doing well. August 15th is the day. I am scheduled for a C Section that morning. 2 weeks and counting! We are excited to have them come to our home. We will keep you updated on their progress.

Mud Volleyball

We had a great 4th of July weekend! My parents were here all week helping me out ( thank goodness for mothers!) and then my brother and his family came to visit. We went to the rodeo on the night of the 4th and watched fireworks. On the 5th there was a mud volleyball tournament that my family entered. Justin, my brother Rob and my nephews Justin, Casey and Taylor played in the tournament. No, I didn't play, I resisted and sat on the sidelines. Next year I am all over mud volleyball! The team did great they took 3rd place out of 14 teams. It was so fun to watch them play! I was a little jealous! Then in Afton there was a big celebration and parade. Afton opened a new Civic Center and my great grandfather was inducted into the Hall of Fame, so my mom and other family members had a float in the parade. Brayden and Peyton had a fun time throwing candy and riding on the float. We had a great time! Over all it was a fun 4th of July weekend.
The babies are doing great! I haven't had to be on bed rest yet so we are just plugging along. The house is coming along great too. The cabinets are in, the floor is done and the carpet is almost finished. We are hoping to move in at the end of the month.

My Cowboys

My two cute cowboys.

Justin got a shotgun for Christmas and he finally got the chance to shoot it.
He is my other cute cowboy!

Brayden and Peyton are having fun shooting skeet.

As we were getting ready for church today the boys were getting their boots on and I had to take a picture of them in their boots and hats. They are so cute. Then the thought came to me, I never thought that would be my kids in cowboy boots and hats. I never thought that they would want to go hunting, fishing and shoot guns. It is so interesting how life turns out. I wouldn't change it for anything. I feel so lucky to be here in Star Valley and be able to raise my kids in the country. What a wonderful place to be. I love the small town life and I wouldn't change it for anything!

Baby Shower

My friends had a baby shower for me and it was so much fun! I got lots of cute outfits, blankets and tons of diapers! It is so fun to see so much pink and purple. I can't wait to dress up my little girls! We figured that one package of 56 diapers will last us about 3 days! WOW!!!! It was a fun shower. Thanks everyone for all the great gifts.
I am now 27 weeks and so far everything is going great. The babies are healthy and growing. We have decided to name them Cara Catherine and Caylin Jennie.

Peyton turns 3!

May 20th Peyton turned 3 years old! He is getting so big. When we asked him what he wanted for his birthday, the only thing that he would say is a black cake (chocolate cake). He didn't even ask for any presents. When he saw is presents he did get excited and loved them. He got a fishing pole, cowboy hat, cowboy boots, sunglasses, a basket ball, some cloths and a little swimming pool. He had a great birthday! The picture of Brayden doesn't have anything to do with Peyton's birthday but it was such a funny picture I had to include it. We had just gotten home from a day at the ball park watching Justin play ball. He was so dirty and crazy hair but he had a fun day!

Our Vacation

Family Vacation

Since this summer we won't be able to go anywhere because of the babies and hopefully moving into a new house we decided to take a little mini vacation to Salt Lake and do some fun things with the boys. We had a fun filled busy weekend. We went to the Living Planet Aquarium in Sandy, it was great. The boys were able to see all kinds of fish and touch a sting ray, starfish, and some other wierd things! Then we went to Discovery Gateway, it is a discovery center for kids. It was awsome. We were disappointed becuase we found out when we got there that they were closing early so we didn't get very much time to play. Then we took the boys to Chuck E Cheese. They loved it. Brayden was in heaven with all the games to play and pizza to eat! We were able to visit with family, rike bikes, play in the grass and at the park. It was fun. Of course it wasn't long enough and we had to come home to the snow but we had a fun time while we were there.

Girls!!!!??!!!

Yep two girls! We went and had an ultrasound today and we found out that we are having two girls! We are all so excited! I had prepared myself for boys just because that seems to be the trend in my family (15 grandchildren and only 1 girl until now). During the ultrasound they were looking at the first baby and the Doctor said I know what it is already, I said it must be a boy he said no it's a girl! I was happy thinking that I had at least one girl. I was sure the other one was a boy. Nope another girl!!! Now what do we do with two girls?? I am excited to buy pink frilly things and put bows in their hair for a while anyway then they can learn to play ball!!!
Brayden decided that it would be good to have girls so that when the boys went hunting the girls can stay home and make dinner for them. Funny!!!
Now we have to pick out names. Any suggestions?

Happy Easter

As you can see we still have lots of snow at our house. So Saturday morning at the Easter egg hunt it was pretty cold. It was 12 degrees when we got there. Burrrr!!!!! But the kids had a great time. Easter morning was fun. The kids were excited and loved the cloths that the Easter bunny brought them.

Wrestling

We went to a wrestling tournament in Evanston Wy on Saturday. Brayden had lots of fun. It was great to watch these little kids wrestle. There were some tough kids. Brayden got a medal and that was the best part of all. We had a great day.

Winter, Brayden's Bday, Island Park

I thought I would post all of this in one. We took our annual trip to Island Park on the 15th of February. My parents and my brothers family all came. We had a great time visiting, playing in the snow and snowmobiling. There was a lot of snow to play in but the weather was perfect.

On Monday the 18th was Brayden's 5th birthday. We celebrated while we were at the cabin, on the way home and when we got home. He had a great birthday. The present that he liked the most was the snowboard that he got. He loves it and he is getting good at it.

This winter has been a good one around here. I had to include some pictures of our yard and all the snow we have. We have had a beautiful week and it makes me want spring to come. Then I look at all the snow and realize that it will be a long time before we see the grass again!

The twins are doing well and everything is going well with the pregnancy. We are hoping to find out what they are on April 8th.
The house is coming along great. We have the plumbing and the insulation done so now we get to start sheetrock. I am excited!

TWINS!!!!!!!

Yep! It is true. On friday I went to the doctor for my first appointment and on the ultrasound we found out that we are having twins!! I know it is a shock to us too. I have cried many tears over this. Now there is nothing else to do but be excited and look forward to our new arrivals. My due date is in August sometime. We are going to have a very exciting summer. Now we are just working on getting the house finished so we can get moved in before the twins come. We won't be able to find out if they are boys or girls for about 6 more weeks. We will keep everyone updated and let you know as soon as we find out. If you see any good sales on diapers let me know!!!!

Foxworthy on Wyoming

I received an email the other day and it was so funny and so true that I had to share some of it with you. It is Foxworthy on Wyoming. Here are just a few of the funny things that was said:

If you consider it a sport to gather your food by drilling through 18 inches of ice and sitting there all day hoping that the food will swim by, you might live in Wyo.

If your local Dairy Queen is closed from November through March, you might live in Wyo.

If you have worn shorts and a parka at the same time, you might live in Wyo.

If your town has an equal number of bars and churches, you might live in Wyo.

If your dad's suntan stops at a line curving around the middle of his forehead, you might live in Wyo.

YOU KNOW YOU ARE A TRUE WYOMINGITE WHEN:

"Vacation" means going east or west on I-80 for the weekend.

You measure distance in hours.

You often switch from "heat" to "A/C" in the same day and back again.

You can drive 65 mph through 2 feet of snow during a raging blizzard, without flinching.

You know several people who have hit a deer more than once

You install security lights on your house and garage and leave both unlocked.

You know all 4 seasons: almost winter, winter, still winter and road construction.

You actually understand these jokes, and you forward them to all your friends....Sad....but true!!!

I read this last part and started laughing because I understand all of these jokes and I did forward this to all of my friends because this is true life in Wyoming. I hope that you all get a good laugh from this and think of your friend who lives in Wyoming!!!!

Merry Christmas

We had a very fun Christmas this year. This was the first year that we have stayed home. The past years we have been in Salt Lake with my family. But with Christmas on a weekday we were not able to leave. Justin works for UPS and this is a very busy time of year for them. He has to work Christmas eve and they day after Christmas. So we were just home this year. It was kind of nice to just be home and not have to haul all of our stuff to and from. The boys were so excited this year. Me and the boys spent Christmas eve with our friends. Justin didn't get off work until 10pm that night. We had fun with our friends eating dinner and playing games. Christmas morning was funny. Peyton was actually the first one to wake up. He got up went out and sat on the couch and did nothing. Justin we out to see what he was doing. Justin asked if Sanat came and Peyton said no, Brayden did it. Justin finally convinced him that Santa came and that we need to go wake up Brayden. Then the fun began. They were so excited over all the presents. Santa brought some snow boogie boards, Brayden saw them and said I didn't ask for that why did Santa bring it? Ahh, kids.
