Neisha

On Friday December 1st our dog Neisha passed away. It was sudden and unexpected. We are not sure what went wrong. A few days before she started acting like she wasn't feeling well and we decided to take her to the vet on Friday. We brought her in the house Friday night and when we woke up she was gone. We are all very sad and miss her a lot. She was a very good dog and we loved her so much.

O Christmas Tree

The saturday after Thanksgiving we headed into the forest to get our Christmas tree. We had lots of fun. Our friends Tasha and Nate and their kids came from Salt Lake and we went tree hunting. We were able to take the snowmobiles too! We found a great tree and cut it down and brought it home. We had so much fun playing in the snow and playing on the snowmobiles. Peyton had fun just sitting and eating the snow!

Happy Thanksgiving

Winter has arrived in Star Valley. We had a good storm last week and we have quite a bit of snow on the groud. Justin and I bought 2 snowmobiles a few weeks ago and Justin has been praying for snow ever since. We finally got it and he has been playing on the snowmachines withthe boys. They have been going on rides around the yard. The boys love it! We hope to have lots of fun this winter with the snowmobiles.
We are excited for a long weekend filled with family, food and friends. We are staying home for Thanksgiving and will be having dinner with Justin's family. Then on Saturday we will go and cut down our Christmas tree. It should be a fun weekend. I am looking forward to it. I hope that you all have a wonderful holiday.

Recovering

We have had a busy month. We sold our house and moved into a rental house at the first of October. It was quite the experience to move. I didn't realize we had so much stuff. The kids did well with the move. Brayden thought it was fun to have a new house and we also moved right next door to some good friends that he calls grandma and grandpa so he has had lots of fun. Peyton didn't do so well. He did not like his new bedroom and had trouble sleeping for a while. Now he is doing well and we are all put together.
One week ago I had my gallbladder out. I had a longer hospital stay then I planned on. I had a bad reaction to all the medication that I received. Finally I was able to come home and finish recovering. I am getting better and better everyday. My parents were able to come and help out and I have been so appreciative of their help.
We are getting ready for Halloween. The kids are so excited. We will have to publish some pictures of all the excitment next week.

What a fun summer we have had. We ended summer by going camping over Labor Day weekend. We had a lot of fun with our grandma's and grandpa's and cousins and friends who were there with us. We went fishing, hiking, horseback riding and of course Jusitn had to go hunting. It was a great time. You can tell fall is here. All the hunters are out and the leaves are really starting to change. We have had frost quite a few mornings.
Brayden started preschool last week. He loves it. When I picked him up the first day he said, " Mom can I go to Kindergarten now." Pretty funny. He loves school and has a great time there. I enjoy it too!
Well we sold our house and we will be moving to a rental house at the end of the month. We are hoping to buy some land soon and then begin building a new house in the spring. So we are off on a new adventure. It should be fun and exciting and scary.

We have had a fun summer. In July we had a big family reunion for my mom's family. It was here in Thayne Wyoming. We had around 100 people there. It was fun to see everyone and visit with them. We had lots of company at our house that weekend.
The Thayne Fire Department has a Little Buckaroo Rodeo every year. This year Brayden was old enough to ride a sheep. He was so brave and he did a great job. He hung on tight and then the sheep ran right into the clown and the ride was over. He said he didn't want to do that again. It was fun to watch.
The Lincoln County Fair was this past week. I was in charge of the community booth so I kept busy all week long. It was a fun fair. Brayden loves to go ride the rides. We were able to see a great rodeo and demolition durby. It was fun but I am glad that it is over!

Sunset in Thayne Wyoming

Justin took a couple of great pictures of the sunset. It was such a beautiful night and the whole sky was pink. The mountains were so pretty. The pictures turned out great but sitting on the front steps seeing the sunset was awsome!
We had a fun 4th of July. We went to Bear Lake for the day and played on the beach and in the water. It was so much fun. We came home and watched the fireworks from the backyard. Brayden loved the fireworks. We had a fun day.
Justin turned 30 today! Mom and the boys gave him a new tool belt and a tool bucket that keeps your tools organized (hopefully). Now he is ready to build us a new house.

Family Reunion

Last week we flew to North Carolina and went to the Outer Banks with all of Catherine's family. We stayed at a beach house and had a great time playing in the ocean and swimming. Brayden loved the water. We could hardly get him out. Peyton wasn't too sure at first but he loved walking in the water. We had a great time with my family. There was 23 of us there. The oldest two are on missions and the were the only ones missing. Brayden loved playing with his cousins. They entertain him well. We played hard all day and we are still trying to recover! It was fun to be together as a family and all staying in one house. We can't wait until we can go again!
