Today we poured the cement for the walls in the basement. YEA!!! It is starting to look like a house. We are excited. Next we will backfill and start the main floor.
Wahoo! That is awesome. Having never built a house before, I don't know a lot about it. How long is it projected to take? How much of the work are you guys doing yourselves? This must be so exciting!
We are planning on the project taking around 9 months. We are doing all the work ourselves except digging the dirt. We are excited. It will be a long project but very worth it in the end.
