First day of preschool

 

 

 

 

The girls started preschool. They were so excited to go to school and wear their backpacks. They looked so big! Where has the time gone? They were even more excited that Grandma Janadene gets to be one of their teachers. Yea for preschool!!!

1st Day of School

 

 

 

 

The first day of school finally arrived. The boys were so excited and eager to get to school! I love seeing them so excited. It was great to send them off to school this year. They both have great teachers and they are both so excited to learn! Here's to a great school year!!

Bear Lake

We took a trip to Bear Lake for the day. We had a grea time enjoying the sunshine and the water. The kids loved it.

Hail Storm

 

 

 

 

We had a HUGE storm yesterday. It hailed and rained like crazy! This was the aftermath of the storm. All of my flowers were so beautiful and full of blossoms. Now they are all gone. My garden was just getting ready to pick. Now I don't know if it will recover. Oh the joys of living in Star Valley!!
PS yes the tent was left up, yes it was full of sleeping bags, pillows and foam. No the rain fly was not on and yes everything was soaking wet and covered in mud. No I was not very happy!

Happy Birthday Cara & Caylin

 

 

 

 

The twins are 3!! They were so excited for their birthday and kept asking am I 3 now? They wanted a Dora birthday so that is what we did. We had Dora cups, plates, napkins, tablecloth and cake! It was fun to see their excitement. We had fun celebrating with them!

Boating

We love to go boating. So when Grandma and Grandpa offered to take us we were so excited to go. The kids had lots of fun playing in the water, riding the tube, jumping off the bridge, and Brayden even learned how to water ski! It was a beautiful afternoon and we had so much fun!

Summertime fun

We have had a fun 2 weeks. My sister Cheryl and her boys came to visit so we headed to Salt Lake for a week. We had so much fun while we were there. We were able to see all the family, go swimming, hiking, play at the park and ride bikes. It was a fun week. Then they all came to our house. We played baseball, went to Jackson, sat around the fire and roasted marshmallows and had a great time visiting. We can't wait until we can see them again.

Half Marathon

 

 

 

 

Justin ran in the Star Valley Half Marathon this last weekend. He trained hard and it paid off. He ran it in 1:42. Amazing!! We were there to cheer him on! We are so proud of him!!

Baseball

 

 

 

 

Brayden and Peyton played baseball this year. They did really well and it was fun to watch them!

Mud Volleyball & 4th of July

Over the 4th of July weekend we played in the mud volleyball tournament in Afton. We had lots of fun this year. Rob, MaryAnn , Justin and Abby came up to spend the weekend with us. Marc, Angela and her family played mud volleyball with us this year. We played hard and had lots of fun together. After the volleyball tournament we watched the parade and got lots of candy! We finished off the night with a good old hot dog roast. What a great weekend!

St George

We were able to take a trip to St George and spend a week in the warm sun! We had a great time while we were there. We went swimming, hiking and shopping and just relaxed. It was a great time!

Painting

 

We couldn't find Cara the other day. When we finally did find her she was in my bathroom. She got my mascara out and painted the cabinet door. "But I was just painting mom"

Happy 6th Birthday Peyton!

 

 

 

Today is Peyton's 6th birthday. The boys were up very early this morning. I think Brayden was just as excited as Peyton was. We ate breakfast and then opened presents. Peyton invited some friends over after school to play. We also celebrated with them by having cake and ice cream. We have had a very fun day! We love Peyton so much. He has such a sweet spirit. Peyton is so helpful and loving and kind. We all love him so much!!

Like father like son and daughter

 

 

 

I was giving haircuts the other night and the boys both wanted their hair cut like their dad. So we buzzed their hair off. I think both boys look like their dad. But they are all so cute!

Happy Easter

 

 

 

 

We had a fun Easter this year. We colored easter eggs, went to the easter egg hunt, and ate lots of candy! It is fun to see the kids excitement and the joy they get out of little things. It was a fun weekend!

Funny Girls!

 

 

 

These two girls are always doing something funny. They keep us laughing and keep us on our toes. They loved everything about Easter. We had a great day. They are starting to really love changing clothes 10 times a day. We never know what they will be wearing next. When we put them to bed they will get up and change clothes! The second picture is how we found them one night. Cara found Brayden's bike helmet and put it on backwards. She though the reflectors were glasses. That made me laugh so hard. She even rode the scooter like that. To cute!!!
